Outcome
Each audit identified funds that belonged to the client equivalent to 2.3% and 7.8% of their respective annual media spend, in total $900K

Challenge
Our client had worked with the agency holdco for 12 years and had never performed a contractual audit.
The MSA was dated from 2012 which did not have adequate audit and transparency clauses.
There was some animosity and lack of trust between the client and the partners.
Approach
RAUS Global performed a 24 months contractual audit across all agencies in media, creative and PR. We performed the same time period to achieve the most recent results possible.
Since the MSA was old, we provided a deep dive of the MSA to identify clauses that needed updating.
We also validated areas where the client were missing out on findings due to the lack of transparency.
Outcome
The contractual audits identified a high number of weakness in the old contract. We identified over $1MLN in funds to be returned and $23.5MLN to be discussed due to lack of evidence for charges.
RAUS supported the business case discussions internally and the negotiation strategy with the agency entities.
